Shropshire Estate Agents Get Behind The Wheel

A group of staff from Nock Deighton slipped and skidded their way around a racing track as part of a course to make them safer drivers.

Team members from Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Kidderminster and Cleobury Mortimer won their places at the staff end of year event as part of Nock Deighton’s “experience Shropshire” theme.

And they took to the track at Stuart Walker’s skid control circuit near Oswestry in March.

The day formed part of the Nock Deighton training and personal development programme, which has a clear focus on promoting the many activities on offer in Shropshire.

Graham Taylor, Nock Deighton’s managing director, said it was a fun and educational day.

“Everyone really enjoyed it and not only had a thrilling experience, but learned important road skills at the same time,” he said.

“The aim of the skid control track is to simulate the way a car skids on a wet or slippery road but at lower speeds so you can learn how to control the car.

“It was exhilarating, a bit scary at times, but thoroughly good fun - and potentially lifesaving.”

Nock Deighton is one of Shropshire’s most well-establised estate and lettings agency and has offices in Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge, Ludlow, Cleobury Mortimer and Kidderminster.
