New Senior Member of Staff Joins Ironbridge

A local estate agent is going from strength-to-strength after the recent appointment of a new senior member of staff.

Susan Smallshaw has joined Nock Deighton's Ironbridge office as a Senior Negotiator following a distinguished career in property sales which has seen her hold similarly high-profile roles at various other estate agents across the county.

A Member of the National Association of Estate Agents, Susan's main duties involve liaising with solicitors to ensure sales smoothly progress to completion and negotiating sales on behalf of vendors. She also plays a pivotal part in the initial valuation of properties.

To welcome someone with Susan's expertise and experience is a huge boost to the team, and we are delighted with how she has fitted in since joining us, Chris Hargreaves, Director of Nock Deighton's Ironbridge office, commented. Local demand for properties in the early part of the year has been strong, in part due to first-time buyers looking to take advantage of the government's Stamp Duty relaxation before the 24th March deadline, and Susan has played a big part in us helping us deal with this increased interest.

It's a pleasure to have joined a firm with the reputation and prestige that Nock Deighton enjoys, not just in Ironbridge, but across Shropshire as a whole, Susan Smallshaw explained. I'm thoroughly enjoying the challenge of my new role, in particular working closely with vendors to really understand the properties they are selling and how we can help to maximise those opportunities.
