Property specialists here at Nock Deighton estate agents say it’s “business as usual” following the election result.
Michael Nettleton, director of sales and marketing at Nock Deighton, says: “The housing market in Shropshire has been pretty unaffected by national and world politics over the last five years and we would expect that pattern to continue.
"Regardless of your political opinion, now that the election is out of the way it’s very much a case of business as usual. We have actually been busy leading up to the election and the feeling is that buyers are still actively looking to move.
"The main issue for the property market is the lack of available stock, which has been the case for the past couple of years and the election certainly hasn’t had any impact on that.
"Add this to the increased number of sales in recent weeks and buyers find themselves with only a limited number of quality instructions to choose from. Now is the time to seek advice and take your property to the market to achieve the highest price possible."
